cut - him - not
Circumcision back in the Philippines is like a religious requirements —parents are being told, their sons should be circumcised.Otherwise, they’ll be plagued with infections, may cause cancer of the penis, they’ll give their wives vaginal diseases etc. etc. Since every men in the country is circumcised, the tendency of the filipino parents is to get their li’l boys cut as quick as possible. The doctors would assure them,it is painless.Painless? God,you should see how my brother screamed during the circumcision.I must have been 15 years old that time but I did feel my brother’s anguish and still am. The claim it didn’t hurt is remain a big question mark for me.
Circumcision, where the foreskin of the penis is surgically removed. It is commonly performed for hygienic or religious reasons. It has never been widely practised here in Germany.Women here would prefer a natural uncut/penis. For them,it is natural to assume the idea that they prefer what is familiar and natural to them. In contrary, women from the country where circumcision is widely practiced, insist that the uncut/natural male is unclean and unattractive. There are discussions everywhere about circumcision being unnecessary and painful, some still would insist the advantages of being circumcised.(I thought, these men might have forgotten what it felt like to have it cut,umm..)
Just few hours ago,N24 tackled on this subject, and the whole question of circumcision came back to me again. My opinion as a mother to a 21 months boy,I wouldn’t never claim any bit of ignorance about all this and let my baby suffer this unnecessary, painful practice!I would NEVER agree and allow this to happen to my boy!!NEVER
